Fletcher

I cannot believe how fast this little guy
is growing!!!  It seem like just yesterday
he was born.....I swear I am going
to wake up tomorrow and be taking
him to his first day of school.....it just
seems to be going by so fast already.
------------
Well Fletcher you are now two months
old and you weigh a whopping 14.56 lbs.
You are 23 inches long and you have
the roundest and fattest little head
I love it!! You are the happiest little baby,
you are always smiling.
You love to stand on my legs and
show me just how strong you are.
Sometimes you get so excited that
your whole little fat body shakes from joy
and you smile so big.
You are almost always to distracted
by the clock on the wall to look
at mom, but that's alright
I just love to look at you anyway!!
When you are sleeping, you sleep
through almost anything.....
dogs barking, movies, the vacuum
....but the little noises
startle you and your cute little
hands both shoot straight into the air,
you hold them there for about 5 seconds
and then slowly lower them back down.
You always want to eat...hence 14.56 lbs.
90% of the time you wake up smiling.
You love being raised high into
the air and then coming back down fast....
you are such a little daredevil already!!
You love to dance and you love
listening to music.  You love
when I sing silly little made up
songs to you, they always make
you smile.  I love snuggling
with you on the couch everday...
that's how we spend most of our days!!!
You are a little furnace....your little body
is always toasty warm.
You don't like having your hands
touched and 85% of the time
they are balled up into fists.
The first time I tried to clip your nails
I got a little skin and even though
you didn't wake up I cried....now
dad has to clip your nails.
I love to just watch you sleep....
you are so peaceful and you make
some really cute baby noises and faces,
what are you dreaming about?
------------
You will never be loved by anyone
as much as I love you!!!!!

Fletcher is here

Baby Fletcher is here and the sweetest little
addition to our family that I could have
asked for!!! I can't stand the thought of
not holding him. What a wonderful
blessing and calling it is to be a Mother!!!
I love this little guy so much already
I can't imagine loving him more...
and yet each day I find my heart
growing more open to this little
bundle of sweetness!!
These are a couple of sneak peeks
at his pictures that we took of him
this week. Enjoy and I can't wait
to share some more with you!!

It's almost time

Just a little preview of the pics
that my GREAT FRIEND Anne took.
Crazy to think that in 2 weeks (or less, or more)
we will actually have a baby in our house.
And not just any baby.....our baby. WHOA!!!
------------
So excited for our new arrival!!! Trying to
make sure we have everything ready,
clean, packed, set-up, and mapped out.
Now that I am done working hopefully
I will have more time to keep updated on my
blogging!!! We will see how that goes....
with a new baby and all. Hopefully it
won't take to long for me to figure out some
kind of a routine. I will keep you posted.
Miss all of you and even though I am horrible
at blogging I check all of your blogs quite regularly
so keep up the good work ;)

Gettysburg FANatic!!!!

My dad is a huge civil war buff....
he watched documentaries, he reads
books, he searches online. And no matter
how much it pains me to say this....he was
probably more excited to see Gettysburg
than me when he came to visit. ;)
Just kidding, but not about him being
way way way excited to see Gettysburg.
My poor Dad had an 18 hour trip to get to MD....
he left work at about 2 p.m. and went straight
to the airport, only to find out he was possibly not
going to make it out that night. But, luckily
a flight opened up and he made it to
Atlanta, Ga. He figured he could
catch a few winks at the airport, he had
a big day the next day.....Gettysburg!!!
Well, between the floor buffers and vacuums
my poor dad did not get very much sleep.
He made it out on the very first flight and
got to Baltimore at about 8 a.m. We thought
maybe he would want to nap a bit, take it easy
and we would hit Gettysburg the next day.
Boy, were we wrong....he wanted to go to Gettysburg.
So we packed a lunch that we could eat
when we got there and headed out.
We arrived and decided to eat first then drive
the tour. Here we are making our deliscious lunch.

mmmmm....hoagies

Daniel, after lunch....Savanah 8 1/2 months prego

Here is Dad to excited to wait....
so during lunch he told us the story
of "The battle of Gettysburg"
He was a fountain of knowledge....
it was awesome to share this experience
with my Dad!!! We had our own
personal tour guide!!
Just a cool statue we wanted a picture by!!
Another cool monument

This is my cannon....no big deal
